- Picnic along the Cedar River at an available campsite
- Taste samples of exotic fruits and nuts grown here
- Purchase Asian pears, chestnuts, honeyberries and more in season
- Once you’ve enjoyed a tour hosted by your orchardist, hike on your own any time during the season!
A community of abundance in a time of scarcity
What we do
Soil and prairie restoration, timber stand improvement, orchards and gardens, shared with the public because it’s too beautiful to keep to ourselves.
Why we do it
Our waters were not always brown. Our only agriculture was not always corn, soybeans and hogs. This is living proof we can do better.

Reserve a Draco Hill Hipcamp site near the Cedar River. Affordable, private, beautiful.
Groups Welcome
