Metal roofs last decades longer than asphalt ones, reducing cost and the impact on our landfills. A white metal roof takes a little getting used to but it pays off with it’s ability to help keep the house cool during 100+ degree days in Iowa. Here you can also see the top of the light tube we use to provide natural light to the one room in the house without windows.
