The peaches and pears were freeze-dried, dehydrated and or baked and eaten. The apples were socked away in cold storage and Hipcamp was closed down for the season, our outhouses and campsites tucked in and ready for snow.
So it was time to get on a plane and go to the Grand Canyon! We love Caravan Tours because their guides are always pros, they handle all of the arrangements so we can BOTH be on vacation and they always treat people well. This was certainly the case when we visited Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Lake Powell and Monument Valley in October. My only complaint – almost everything in every store in our national parks is made in China!
