The backhoe from Lynch’s Excavating finally arrived and made quick work of more than 200 stumps left from our tree removal efforts this spring. Pat and Andy got them out and off to our neighbor’s place, though thanks to a Draco Hill screw up we’ll be relocating some of them this week!

Once we clean up that mess, the Lynch’s crew be shaping the terraces into two swales and two berms each. We already have our cover crop of tillage radish and dutch white clover ready to go and the timing is just about perfect for getting them in.
