Fall has officially arrived with our first frosty morning. That means getting final orders in for the orchard. In the last two days we’ve settled on Asian pears and heartnuts (from Red Fern Farm) arriving in the spring, pawpaw seedlings (from Versaland) arriving any day, gooseberry cultivars and honeyberries from HoneyberryUSA arriving end of October/beginning of November. We still have elderberries and hazelnuts we hope to get from our neighbor’s and our place, and ground cherries will go in next year.
We’ll continue to post our progress, but in the meantime we offer up these early morning photos for you.
