Strawberries growing along the patio path, holding back the fescue, with honeydew melons planted amidst them spreading out onto the concrete and cooling off the area in the hot August sun. Garlic lining the bed protecting it from predators who just don’t like the smell. Pecan and paw paw trees planted along a beautiful walk toward the river, trees that will eventually overshadow undesirable weeds and invasive plants. This is edible landscaping and what we practice at Draco Hill.
