Yes, that’s snow, and it’s April 23, 2013, and if you look carefully, you’ll see garlic coming up in the foreground. It started as rain, went to sleet and then these giant snow flakes began to fall! It was beautiful, and I’m very glad to report it seems to have ended.

Spring WILL get here one of these days, right? I mean, the grass is ready, the trees seem ready to pop and our first shiitakes have come in. Yum! So let’s get on with it already!
